About Rusty
I'm a therapist in private practice in California, currently in my third year of a doctoral program in Depth Psychology. I began my practice following a decade in marketing working with Fortune 500 companies. Many of my clients are creatives, entrepreneurs, and high-achieving professionals balancing intense social and professional demands.
My specialty is working with neurodivergent professionals and LGBTQ+ couples navigating anxiety, ADHD (including late diagnosis), burnout, relationship stress, and career/life transitions.
My approach is integrative and collaborative. Depending on what you need, I draw from depth psychoanalysis, CBT, somatic work, narrative therapy, and brainspotting. Some sessions are practical and strategic. Some go deeper. All of them are oriented toward the life you actually want to be living.
My doctoral research focuses on how neurodivergent people experience relationships and emotional patterns differently — and how therapy can better account for that. I also provide free gender-affirming letter sessions.
What I help with:
Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
Relationship and communication challenges
Life transitions and identity shifts
Burnout and modern-day pressure
Recurring emotional or relational patterns
Creative, professional, and performance-related stress
