Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I work with adults dealing with anxiety, ADHD, relationship problems, and life transitions.

I provide affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals and work with couples — including neurodivergent/neurotypical couples and LGBTQ+ couples — navigating communication, conflict, and connection.

I also offer free gender affirming care letter sessions.

Where do you practice?

I'm part of West Hollywood Psychology Associates and provide therapy exclusively through secure video sessions to clients anywhere in California. All sessions are remote — you can attend from your home, your office, wherever you feel most comfortable. Due to California licensing laws, I can only see clients who reside in the state.

How will I know if you're the right therapist for me?

I offer a free 20-minute video consultation where we can discuss what you're going through, what you're looking for, and whether my approach feels like the right fit. There's no pressure and no obligation.

One thing I'll say: if you've tried therapy before and it felt too generic — like the therapist didn't understand how you process — that's exactly the gap I aim to fill. My approach is grounded in depth psychoanalysis, which means we don't just address symptoms. We explore the larger patterns, stories, and unconscious dynamics underneath them.

What type of therapy do you practice?

Integrative. I pull from my trainings in depth psychoanalysis, CBT, brainspotting, and narrative therapy. We figure out what works for your goals, processing style, your life, and we build on that.

For neurodivergent clients specifically, this means I adapt to how you process. Some clients need structured tools and concrete strategies. Others need space to explore patterns that have been running in the background for years. Most need a blend of both, and that's where integrative approach helps.

What can I expect during a session?

Sessions are conducted via Simple Practice, a secure HIPAA-compliant platform where you can complete intake forms, manage scheduling, and join our video calls. During sessions, we work collaboratively — exploring thoughts, emotions, and patterns through conversation, reflection, and targeted exercises. Some sessions are heavy and deep. Some are practical and strategic. The pace is always yours.

How often will we meet?

Weekly sessions tend to produce the best results, especially in the first few months. That said, I adjust frequency on a case-by-case basis depending on where you are and what you need.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals and what you're working through. Some clients find significant clarity in a few months. Others engage in longer-term depth work. You're always free to revisit this as we go.

How long is each session?

50 minutes.

How much do you charge?

$195 per session for both individual and couples therapy. This is the rate before any insurance reimbursement. For a free check on your out-of-network coverage, visit my benefits page here.

Do you accept insurance?

I bill as an out-of-network provider through Thrizer, which means most clients with PPO plans pay only their out-of-network copay at the time of the session — no filing superbills or waiting for reimbursement. Visit my benefits page to check your specific coverage here.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 business hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within that window are charged the full session fee. I understand things come up — this policy exists so I can offer that time to someone else who needs it.
